In my point of view (maybe others) its that you can't go by hear say more or less go on listening to what that person heard directly so like a bias

Today it is studied in high schools and universities because of its status as a revolutionary work of theater and for its allegorical relationship to testimony given before the House Committee On Un-American Activities during the 1950s. The Crucible was Also influenced by the communist hunt of McCarthy during the Cold War.
