During the Industrial Revolution, there was a growth in machinery, factories and mass production. The iron, textile, and the steam engine helped improve transportation, communication, and banking. Basically, all the improvements made in the Industrial Revolution helped make life easier for everyone in it. The world became more urban/modern because of these inventions.
