Ok so this is how you do it.....
You need to get x by itself.
8x + c = k
Subtract c.
8x = k - c
Divide 8 from both sides.
x = k - c / 8
I hope this helps love! :)

Answer:

x =
(k-c)/(8)

Explanation:

Solve:

8x+c = k

Subtract c from both sides we have;

8x+c-c= k-c

Simplify:

8x = k-c

Divide both sides by 8 we have;

x = (k-c)/(8)

Therefore, the value of x is,
(k-c)/(8)
