Which sentence’s style is appropriate for a note to a teacher?

I’m not coming to class because I have a family thing.

My parents totally want me at this big family meeting.

Please excuse me from class to attend an important family function.

I so don’t want to miss class, but my family is making me.

Because a teacher is considered an authoritative figure, the note should be formally written and one that shows respect to the teacher's authority. It should also clearly state the student's request and the reason for such. Among the choices, the only one that is appropriate to use is the third choice. It uses the word "Please" and states the request (excuse from class) and the reason for the absence.
