Typically in all essays in general, there is usually 3 to 5 paragraphs in an essay which includes the introduction, the body paragraph(s), and the conclusion.

Hey there,
Answer:
Normally, an expository essay consists of 5 paragraphs - introduction, the following 2 paragraphs are the body and finally the conclusion.
