According to Newtons 2nd law of motion,
Fnet = mass x acceleration
∴acceleration = Fnet/mass = 50/100 = 0.5 m/s²

Use the equation F=ma to solve for the acceleration
Force: 50 N
Mass: 100kg
50=100a
a= .5 m/s/s
