A 5 pound bag of grass seed covers 3,000 square feet. How many pounds would be needed to cover 24,000 square feet?

Hello There!

24000/3000 = 8
Multiply by 8:
5 x 8 = 40

40 pounds are needed

the number of bags = 24000/3000 = 8

number pounds = 5*8 = 40 pounds
