Show that the area of the rectangle is equal to the quadratic equation next to it.

Please explain I really don't understand it!!!

x^2-x-30 = 0
(x-6)(x+5) = 0
x-6 =0
x=6
x+5 =0
x=-5

x=6 or x=-5
