Josie tells her clients to drink water when training. Drink 500 mL two hours before a training session. Drink 250 mL at the start of a training session. Drink 150 mL every fifteen minutes up to the end of a training session. Each training session lasts for one hour. What is the total amount of water that Josie’s clients should drink for each training session?

Hello!
OK, so first we need to see how many times 15 mins comes in a hour.

60/15 = 4

150 * 4 = 600

You have to drink 600mL in an hour. Lets add:

500 + 250 + 600
750 + 600
1350

So, the total amount of water Josie’s clients should drink for each training session is: 1,350 mL

Hope this helps!

Answer:

1,200 ml.

Explanation:

In order to calculate this you just have to add up the amount of water that her clients have to drink:

At the start of the training session they have to drink 500ml, then at the start of the session he has to drink 250ml, and then every 15 minutes for a training season of an hour, so at minute 15, minute 30, and 45 minutes, since the trainig ends at 60 minutes they don´t have to drink more water, so we add up:

500 ml before the start

250ml at the start

450ml for every 15 minutes

The total amount is 1200 ml.
