There are a lot of things involved in managing sales including: -- setting objectives; -- organizing the sales force; -- recruiting, selecting, training, and compensating salespeople; and -- evaluating the performance of individual salespeople. In sales planning is also involve, the selling program and implementing and controlling the personal selling effort of the firm.
