Umm ok so each number you have you subtract for then add 6 and so on and so forth.

8, 4, 10, 6, 12, 8, 14, 10, 16, 12, 18

or you can say this

8,10,12,14,16 and

4,6,8,10,12

are part of the same sequence but each part counts by two.
