Umm ok so each number you have you subtract for then add 6 and so on and so forth.

Explanation:

8, 4, 10, 6, 12, 8, 14, 10, 16, 12, 18

or you can say this

8,10,12,14,16 and

4,6,8,10,12

are part of the same sequence but each part counts by two.
