The main system of moral beliefs formed the centre of Chinese thought and culture for them is Confucianism.

Side-note: Buddhism and Taoism are two other faiths were permitted official recognition. (But Confucianism was the main one, especially in Qing Dynasty)

The answer is C. Confucianism.
