36) 8 divided by 2 is 4. 4 multiplied by 9(3 to the power of 2) is equal to 36

Okay, there's two ways I can solve
A. 8/2 * 3^2
PEMDAS
8/2 * 9
4 * 9
36

Or
B.
eight divided by two is 4
four times three is 12
twelve to the power of 2 is 24
