CONFUSED, PLEASE HELP. Decide which of Newton’s 3 laws of motion is demonstrated in this sentence. The kinetic Kars are bumper cars.
The cars are at rest until the gas pedal is pressed
I'm not sure why the first one is 2nd and not 1st law.

an object at rest stays at rest and an object in motion will stay in motion until acted upon by an outside force so the gas is the outside force and the other kinetic car is the outside force.
