Natural resources are classified as renewable and nonrenewable. What is the difference between the two?

renewable resources can be replenished, while nonrenewable resources are gone when they are used. Trees would be renewable because they can grow back. Coal would be nonrenewable because it was just created and there is only what is left.  I hope that helps.
