The area A of a circle whose diameter is D and radius r is given as

A = Pi D^2/4 = Pi r^2

Where Pi is 3.142 or 22/7

Hence given that the diameter of the crop circle is 30 feet

The area A

= 3.14 * 30^2/4

= 3.14 * 225

= 706.5 square feet
