Teddy Roosevelt's Square Deal was focused on controlling corporations and implementing consumer protection laws. This showed that Teddy Roosevelt was focused on giving all Americans a fair chance at achieving financial success and protecting their heatlh. My controlling corporations, Teddy Roosevelt dedicated a huge part of his presidency to bringing up trusts who eliminated competition and hurt the survival rate of small businesses. He also implemented things like the Meat Inspection Act of 1906, ensuring that foods produced in factories were safe for consumers to eat.
