Given that a rectangular trough, 2.0 m long, 0.70 m wide, and 0.45 m deep, completely full of water is connected to a small drain plug right at the bottom edge

If the plug is pulled, the speed at which water emerges from the hole is given by


V=√(2gh) \\ \\ =√(2*9.8*0.45) \\ \\ =√(8.82)=3.0m/s
