The first thing you want to do is distrube that 2 into the parethesis and you should get 2x-4. Then you should subtract the y from both sides and the equation should be 2x-8-y=6 then you need to add 8 to both sides making 2x-y=2 giving you the Ax+By=C so A=2 B= negative 1 and C= 2
