i think its b but the equations dont make a lot of sense. it would be b  because using distributive property, -2 times X is -2x and -2 times 5 is -10. so therefore, it might be 2x-10

Answer:

C. -2x-10 = -2(x+5)

Explanation:

When using the distributive property, we multiply the term outside parentheses by everything inside parentheses.

For A, we would multiply -2 by x and by -5:

-2(x) + -2(-5) = -2x+10

This is not the same as 2x+10.

For B, we would multiply -2 by x and by 5:

-2(x)+-2(5) = -2x-10

This is not the same as 2x-10.

For C, we would multiply -2 by x and 5:

-2(x)+-2(5) = -2x-10

This is the same as -2x-10.

For D, we would multiply -2 by x and -5:

-2(x) + -2(-5) = -2x+10

This is not the same as 2x-10.
