How did Queen Elizabeth the 1st influence the reformation of the Catholic church?

Queen Elizabeth the 1st was a Protestant herself, but wanted to make a exception to both Catholics and Protestants to avoid religious rivalry. This meant that Elizabeth didn't take sides, and made it fair for both religions.

she wanted her church to be both , cathlioc and protestants .. and didnt want to lean more towards protestants.
