Since there is only one dataset, we can assume we have only one population.

To calculate the mean of the dataset, we need to sum all the data and divide by the number of data points we have.

We have a total of 14 points, so the mean is:

\begin{gathered} \mu=(56+78+98+55+45+87+34+29+76+100+87+71+70+60)/(14) \\ \mu=(946)/(14)=67.571428\ldots\approx67.6 \end{gathered}

The median of a data set is the value that is right in the middle. If we have a even number of points, there will be two values at the middle, so the median will be the mean of the two middle values.

To find them, let's order the data set:

56,78,98,55,45,87,34,29,76,100,87,71,70,60\longrightarrow29,34,45,55,56,60,70,71,76,78,87,87,98,100

Now, we have 14 points, so the middle points will be the 7th and the 8th, which are 70 and 71, so the median is:

M=(70+71)/(2)=(141)/(2)=70.5

The mode of a data set is the value that appear more frequently. As we can see, most of the data appear only once, however there is one value that appear twice, which is 87. There is no other values that appear twice or more times, so the only mode of the dataset is 87.
