Explain where the carbon stored in fossil fuels comes from???

Ok your question kind of doesn't make sense, but If you're talking about the fumes... The fossil fuel can include gas, oil, or coal. They come from the sun(not literally) and are formed through photosynthesis. Kinda like how those big wood factories typically used for making paper, etc. They release energy that the trees capture from the sun. So us burning fossil fuels will release that kind of energy. Answer: The carbon that are stored in the fossil fuels are originated from the dead remains of plants and animals, that were burried millions of year ago, transforming all its carbon content into the newly formed fossil fuel.

This fossil fuel when used up or burned, will transfer all its energy back into the atmosphere. Almost all the organism contain carbon in their body.
