Well 1.55 times 3.5 is equal to 5.425, so :

1:1.55=3:5.425

Answer:

(x)/(3.5)=(1.55)/(1)

Explanation:

One pound of grapes costs $1.55 is given in the question.

We have to calculate the pair of equivalent ratios that can be used to find the cost of 3.5 pounds of grapes.

Let the cost of 3.5 pounds of grapes = $x

So 1 pound of grapes will cost =
(x)/(3.5)

and it is already given that cost of 1 pound grapes = $1.55

so by equating both the costs of per pound grapes

(x)/(3.5)=1.55

or
(x)/(3.5)=(1.55)/(1)

Therefore, Equation showing the equivalent ratios will be

(x)/(3.5)=(1.55)/(1)
