The correct option is B.
The Lottery is a story of a village that usually participates annually in lottery, but the lottery that is done in this village is contrary to the traditional lottery because the winner is always stone to death. Tessie fate was determined at the point where her husband picked the special lottery paper, which signifies that the person that will die have to come from that family. At this point, Tessie spoke out vehemently about the unfairness of the lottery. Each member of Tessie family had to take another lottery slip to decide who will die and Tessie picked the death ticket.
