The oak tree at school was 34 feet high it grew 18 feet taller how tall is the oak tree now

It started at 34 and grew 18, so all you have to do is add both together. If you started with a pencil and your classmate gave you another one you would have 2 because 1+1=2. So 34+18=52 feet.

34 feet + 18 feet = 52 feet
The oak tree is 52 feet tall.
