What is the measure of a base angle of an isosceles triangle if the vertex angle measures 36° and each of the two congruent sides measures 21 units?

72 degrees

isosceles triangles have congruent base angles. since t the three angles of any triangle add to 180, the 2 base angles total 180-36=144. since they are equal divide by 2 to get 72
