There are a fews ways you can set this problem up. Here is one way

So once honey bee can make 1 / 12 of honey so we can say
(1)/(12)x but the question at hand is how many honeybees are needed to make 1 half teaspoon of honey or we could say 6/12 teaspoon. SO know our problem looks like the following

(1)/(12)x = (6)/(12)

Now all we need to do is solve for x

(1)/(12)x = (6)/(12)

x = 6
So it would take 6 honeybees to make 1 half teaspoon of honey.
