Expand the following:
(4 x + 3) (x + 2)
(4 x + 3) (x + 2) = (4 x) (x) + (4 x) (2) + (3) (x) + (3) (2):
4 x x + 2 4 x + 3 x + 3 2
4 x x = 4 x^2:
4 x^2 + 2 4 x + 3 x + 3 2
2×4 = 8:
4 x^2 + 8 x + 3 x + 3 2
3×2 = 6:
4 x^2 + 8 x + 3 x + 6
8 x + 3 x = 11 x:
Answer: 4 x^2 + 11 x + 6

Answer: 4x^2+11x+6

Work:

(4x+3)(x+2)

(4x)(x) = 4x^2 *F*

(4x)(2) = 8x *O*

(3)(x) = 3x *I*

(3)(2) = 6 *L*

4x^2 + 8x + 3x + 6 *add like terms*

4x^2 + 11x + 6
