New Kingdom artists made gold masks to place over the head of the pharaoh's mummy.

Old Kingdom artists made wooden masks to display at the tomb entrance.

They were meant to frighten away tomb robbers.

They symbolically protected the mummy.

No matter what you pick, you will get it correct. Whether it is just one of the choices or all of them, you will get it correct.

If this is incorrect, please, don't refrain to tell me. Thank you.

They had dark eyeliner around the eyes, typically had lots of hieroglyphics on and around them. Usually mummies of pharaohs and queens had headdresses and adornments showing their wealth and power. Their hair was typically a dark brown or black color and some pharaohs would have beards protruding from their chins. King Tut's sarcophagus is a very good example of these things.
