W is not the correct symbol for ohms, that means watts. Please use Ω or "ohms"
What is the time constant of a 20 mH inductor in series with a 230 W resistor? t = L/R = 20m/230 = 87µs
2. Which of the following denotes inductive reactance? XL
3. Which of the following denotes impedance? Z
4. What is the inductive reactance of a 0.5 H inductor connected with a 1000 W resistor in an AC circuit supplied with 48 VAC at 100 Hz?
XL = 2πfL calculate it

The time constant for a series RL circuit is calculated using the following rule:
T = L/R where:
T is the time constant that we need to calculate
L is the value of the inductor = 20 mH = 20 * 10^-3 H
R is the value of the resistance = 2000 ohm

Substitute with the given values in the equation to get the time constant as follows:
T = L/R = (20*10^-3) / (2000) = 10 µsec
