The two numbers are 15 and 24

Explanation:

Let us assume the two parts be x and y

So according to the question

x + y = 39

(2 ÷ 3) x + (3 ÷ 4)y = 28

or

8x + 9y = 28 × 12

8x + 9 × (39 - x) = 336

-x = 336 - 351

x = 15

And, y = 39 - 15

= 24

Hence, the x and y is 15 and 24 respectively
