First clear parentheses
It will make 8k+2+4k-3k+5.
2) Group like terms
8k+4k+2+5.
3) Add the same numbers
9k+2+5
4) now add 2+5
7.
5) Combine everything
And your final answer is 9k+7
Hope that helps!!!
