A law is when for something to happen certain conditions must be fulfilled while
a theory is a statement that states a fact that was either tested by experiment or proven someway true

a law can be repeated every time while a theory can not a law has more facts and statistics supporting its results while a theory has not been proven and really just cant be trusted as much as a law.
