In his essay, James Baldwin defines the language as a way of communication, but as well as a tool to control the reality or how the author himself describes it to articulate the reality. He shows that the Black English has got a stance, a vital role in black culture, as well as in black diaspora. And of course, considering the many different dialects, including Black English it is an example of survival and accent of black culture.

The correct options are the third and fourth ones.
