Explanation:

Area of the figure = area of two semicircles + area of a parallelogram

= 2(½*πr²) + b*h

Where,

Radius (r) = ½ of 8 = 4

Base (b) = 10

Height (h) = 5

Plug in the values

Area of figure = 2(½*π*4²) + 10*5

= 16π + 50

Area = 100.265482

Area of figure = 100.3 units² (nearest tenth)
