Hey there,
Solution:
1 year = 7.75%
6 years = 7.75% x 6
= 46.5%
100% = 3400 km^2
1% = 3400km^2 / 100
= 11,560,000 / 100
= 115,600
46.5% = 115,600 x 46.5
= 5,375,400
Area left = 11,560,000 - 5,375,000
=
6,185,000
