ANY QUESTION WILL DO!

Liam has $500 in his savings account and withdraws $20 each week. Leilani has $200 in her account and deposits $15 each week. How many weeks will it take Leilani to have more money than Liam?

Martin and Melvin are lifting weights. Martin starts with 15lbs and adds 5lbs every set. Melvin starts with 60lbs and subtracts 10lbs every set. In how many sets will they use the same amount of weight?

For the first one, you can use the following "table"
1st week: $500. 200
2nd week : 500 - 20 = $480. 200 + 15 = $215
3rd week : 480 - 20 = $460. 215 + 15 = $230
4th week: 460 - 20 = $440. 230 + 15 = $245
5th week: 440 - 20 = $420. 245 + 15 = $260
6th week: 420 - 20 = $400. 260 + 15 = $275
7th week: 400 - 20 = $380. 275 + 15 = $290
8th week: 380 - 20 = $360. 290 + 15 = $305
9th week: 360 - 20 = $340. 305 + 15 = $320
10th week: 340 - 20 = $320 320 + 15 = $335
Hope this helps!!!

I'll have Martin as X and Melvin as Y.

So the equation for X is, 15(starting point) and +5 every set.

Here's a table
________________
The amount of sets|Lbs -------->This one's for Y
__________________ ________________
0 | 15 0 | 60
1 | 20 1 | 50
2 | 25 2 | 40
3 | 30 3 | 30
4 | 35

On the third set, tables help. I'll do the first question in the comments
