The figure can be redraw as,

The EF is equal to radius of the circle, so EF = 4.3 m.

HE is perpendicular bisector of FG. So,

\begin{gathered} FH=(6.6)/(2) \\ =3.3 \end{gathered}

Determine the length of EH by using pythagoras theorem.

\begin{gathered} (EH)^2=(EF)^2-(FH)^2 \\ =(4.3)^2-(3.3)^2 \\ =14.49-10.89 \\ EH=√(3.6) \\ =1.897 \\ \approx1.90 \end{gathered}

Thus length of side EH is 1.90 meters.

Circle E has a radius of 4.3 meters. FG is a chord and HE is a perpendicular bisector-example-1
