1.16 ÷ 2 = .58
So cost per pound is .58
.58 x 5 = 2.9
So the cost of 5 pounds of bananas would be
$2.9

Hey You!
For this question, you must use division and multiplication:
1.16/2 = 0.58
That means each pound costs $0.58.
0.58 × 5 = 2.90
So, 5 pounds of bananas cost $2.90.
