How do the Sirens kill people?

Sailors become transfixed by their song and forget to steer their ships.

In "The Odyssey," Odysseus must be careful when passing the Sirens because of their song. Their song is so transfixing that sailors waste their time listening to the song and become unable to leave.

Answer: C. Sailors are unable to stop listening and waste away on their island.
