Total number of balls= 10 + 8 +2 which equals 20.
There are 10 BLACK balls so probability= 10/20= 50%
There are 8 RED balls so probability= 8/20= 40%
There are 2 White balls so probability= 2/20= 10%
Hope this helps bud:)

The total number of balls = 10 + 8 + 2 = 20 balls
Probability of a certain color = number of that color / total number
Therefore:
probability of black balls = 10/20 = 50%
probability of red balls = 8/20 = 40%
probability of white balls = 2/20 = 10%
Now, the probability that the drawn ball is one of the three colors is the summation of the three probabilities:
probability that the ball is one of the three colors = (10/20) + (8/20) + (2/20)
= 1 = 100%
(This is logical since the jar only contains these three colors. The drawn ball must be one of the three given colors)
