1) Since we have a cylinder, then we can write out the formula to find the volume as the product of its circular base times its height, simply put:


V=\pi r^2

Remember that the area of a circle is pi times r²

2) So now let's plug into that the given values:


\begin{gathered} V=\pi\cdot(2.5)^2\cdot6 \\ V=37.5 \end{gathered}

Hence, the volume of that Cylinder is 37.5 in³
