In oxidation reduction for copper and alluminium is generally represented as follows
Al/Al ions/cu ions/cu
Al ->Al ions plus 2e-
cu ions plus 2e- ->cu(s
Al plus cu ions ->Al ions plus cu(s)
overall cell potential is therefore
1.66v plus 0.34v which is equal to 2.00v
