Globalization is a phenomenon that has occurred in the productive, financial and economic spheres, connecting the different markets through information technologies and the development of new forms of production and labor. In the case of the automotive industry, globalization has allowed the production of different components to occur in different countries, in order to rationalize production. That is, a car can have each part produced in a particular country and then be assembled in another country. This is called Global Value Chains.
