After World War I, the United States policies wanted to recover the way of the life the country had previously the War. This ideology is known as normalcy (option D) and was promoted by the president Warren G. Harding. One of the consequences of this policy was the common suspicion among the population that some immigrants could spread communism and socialism in the U.S.
