obsession
. Repetitive, ritualistic behaviors are called
compulsions
. Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) is neurotic and anxiety disorder. People with Obsessive-compulsive disorder have irrational fears and constant anxiety. This disorder involve that a fear and anxiety are associated whit recurrent, unwanted and unpleasant thoughts (obsessions). For many people with OCD, the only solution for avoid this thoughts is to make ritual-reduce fear (compulsive act).
