Answer: The volume of
KNO_3 required to make the unknown solution is 42.30 mL.

Step-by-step explanation:

To calculate the volume required to make the given molar solution, we use the equation:

M_1V_1=M_2V_2

where,

M_1\text{ and }V_1 are the molarity and volume of initial solution respectively

M_2\text{ and }V_2 are the molarity and volume of final solution respectively.

We are given:

M_1=0.266M\\V_1=?mL\\M_2=0.075M\\V_2=150mL

Putting values in above equation, we get:

0.266* V_1=0.075* 150\\\\V_1=42.3mL

Hence, the volume of
KNO_3 required to make the unknown solution is 42.30 mL.

THe volume(number of milliliters) required to make 150ml of 0.075M Kno3 solution depend on
C1VI=C2V2 whre c is the concentration and v is the volume
C1=0.266
V1=?
C2=0.075
V2=150
Therefore ,
V1=0.266 x v1=0.075 x150
0.266v1=11.25
divide both side by 0.266
v1=42.29ml
