Answer: There are 7 quarters in all.

Explanation:

Let the number of nickels be 'x'.

Let the number of quarters be 'x'.

1 nickel =$ 0.05

1 quarter = $0.25

So, According to question,

0.05x+0.25x=2.10\\\\0.3x=2.10\\\\x=(2.10)/(0.3)\\\\x=7

Number of nickels = Number of quarters = 7

Hence, there are 7 quarters in all.
