The lobe of the Cerebrum that is immediately posterior to the central sulcus and that is involved in general sensory functions is the Parietal lobe. The parietal lobe terminates posteriorly at the parieto-occipital sulcus, laterally at the lateral sulcus, and anteriorly at the central sulcus.
